The Corniciuc's
Vasile & Isabela
God has given the Corniciuc's a burden for their home country. Romania has been home for Vasile Corniciuc since 1995, when his family came as missionaries. He was saved under the ministry of his father, George Corniciuc, on January 9th, 2003. In September 2004 he started to attend the "Independent Baptist College" in Romania. God called him to preach during his second year of college, and ever since it has been his desire to serve God in a mighty way through planting churches all across Romania. Vasile graduated with a B.A. in Pastoral Theology on May 24, 2008.
Isabela is a national, she grew up in a Catholic home; her mother, sister, and herself started attending a "Brethren church" in their city, and there she received Christ as her Saviour. Vasile and Isabela met in a christian summer camp in Romania; they became friends and stayed that way for 4 years. They began to date in May 2006, and on December 25th, 2007 they were engaged.
They were married on August 16th, 2008. They worked for one year at the "Maranatha" Independent Baptist Church in Costei, Timis; as music director, and as a teacher at the "Independent Baptist College" in Romania. In September of 2009 they went on to work with Sergiu & Elizabeta Sidor, national missionaries, planting a church in the city of Blaj. In May of 2010 God called them to where they are currently working, along side the McKinney's in the area of Darabani, Botoşani county in north eastern Romania.
